COURSES

Our courses focus on practical teaching techniques that you will be able to apply as soon as you begin teaching.

The traditional idea of teaching a language is that you stand in front of a class and "explain" to a group of people how to speak a new language.

This approach may work if you can speak the group's native language but if you can't communicate in their language, and they only speak a few words of your language, What Do You Do?

Insight English TEFL courses teach you how to teach a complete beginner through to advanced speakers and also looks at all of the different teaching environments you may encounter. You may be teaching young learners, large groups, business people or only one person. It is important to be able to plan and adapt your classes to the different needs of your students.

Our TEFL courses cover the following topics:

  • Approaches to language

INSIGHT NOT ONLY PROVIDES THE STANDARD TEFL SKILLS, WE ALSO GIVE YOU THE FOLLOWING SPECIALIZATIONS AS PART OF YOUR COURSE:

Business Writing

This is a skill that is in high demand in language centers across Thailand and Asia. We teach you how to take a piece of writing, identify the type of errors being made and prepare lesson plans to correct the student's mistakes

Language School Environments

Teaching private classes and small groups of professional adults is a unique skill. This is particularly true in Thailand where classes have to be a mixture of fun and learning, a balance many teachers find difficult to achieve.

These specializations are unique to an Insight TEFL and give you an advantage over other TEFL graduates.
